Indian biopharmaceutical company, Biocon Ltd. has appointed Anupam Jindal as the new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and to be the part of the executive leadership team. Anupam Jindal will be reporting to Siddharth Mittal, CEO and MD of Biocon Ltd. Jindal will take over from the interim CFO, Indranil Sen and Sen will continue as a Vice-President for Finance.

Jindal had worked with the Vedanta Group of companies for 22 years and held a position of Group Chief Financial Officer at Sterlite Technologies since 2006. He had played a key role in growing the company’s revenue through organic expansions and acquisitions. He was also instrumental in driving several other strategic initiatives, including the inception and growth of new business verticals. He is also a Chartered Accountant (CA) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and a Company Secretary (CS) from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI).
