Shares of Zen Technologies hit the upper circuit after rallying 5% to Rs 1,362 on 15 July, after the firm made an announcement regarding the introduction of AI-powered Robots & the launch of four defence products.
The company and its subsidiary AI Turing Technologies have launched four new defence products: Hawkeye, Barbarik-URCWS, Prahasta, and Sthir Stab 640. These new products are AI-powered and IP-owned and aim to enhance global security.
Here’s a brief overview of each product:
- Hawkeye: The company describes it as a cutting-edge anti-drone system with sensors that track drones up to 15 km in all weather, ensuring continuous threat detection and enhanced security.
- Barbarik – URCWS: It’s the world’s lightest remote-controlled weapon station, providing precise targeting for ground and naval vehicles, enhancing battlefield effectiveness with minimal risk to personnel. The station excelled in recent firing trials.
- Prahasta: It’s an automated quadruped using LIDAR and reinforcement learning for real-time 3D terrain mapping, mission planning, navigation, and threat assessment. Armed with weapons like 9mm, 5.56mm, and 7.62mm, it serves as a frontline defence tool during attacks.
- Sthir Stab 640: It’s a rugged stabilized sight designed for armoured vehicles, boats, and ICVs, featuring a smart gyro-stabilized system that enhances situational awareness and supports various weapons.
The chairman highlighted that recent innovations mark a major leap in autonomous defence operations. He emphasized the importance of integrating advanced robotics in combat survey missions. He also mentioned that these self-funded products will expand Zen’s offerings of cutting-edge technologies to existing and potential clients.
