Waaree Energies Ltd, on 29 April, announced receiving an order from Gujarat Industries Power for the supply of 400 MW of modules.
The company has received a Letter of Intent (LoI) for a 400 megawatt (MW) module supply agreement from Gujarat Industries Power Company Limited (GIPCL), according to a statement from the company.
In its filing, Waaree Energies released that the modules are on the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM) and have peak output ranging from 540 Watt Peak (Wp) to 570 Wp.
The announcement claims that the contract is for the full supply of solar PV modules using state-of-the-art bifacial technology for the 2,375 MW RE (Renewable Energy) Park near Khavda village in Gujarat’s Great Rann of Kutch.

With a 12 GW installed capacity, Gujarat-based Waaree Energies is one of India’s largest manufacturers of solar PV modules.
