A group of Chinese venture capital firms led by app maker APUS group aims to invest Rs 300 crore in Indian mobile internet firms.
Tao Li, initiator of APUS Fund and founder-CEO of APUS Group said that “as an emerging market, Indian market potential is great and we would like to extend our assistance to early stage start-ups”.
APUS said that it will be using this as a pipeline to discover potential investments and further said that its fund will also pave way for Indian startups to enter the Chinese market through its APUS Global Mobile Internet incubator in Beijing.
