On Monday, Va Tech Wabag Ltd gained 3.71 per cent to trade at Rs 322.5. The S&P BSE utility index is up 0.12 per cent to quote at 3782.04. The index is down 4.59 per cent over October 2022. Other Stocks are Adani Power Ltd increased by 2.21 per cent, and Orient Green Power Company Ltd added 2.14 per cent. The S&P BSE utility index went up 24.29 per cent in 2021 compared to the 8.72 per cent surge in benchmark SENSEX.
