On Wednesday, V-Guard Industries Ltd fell 0.82 per cent to trade at Rs 247.7. The S&P BSE Capital Goods index is down 0.19 per cent to quote at 31540.21. The index is down 6.16 per cent over September month. Some other stocks, Polycab India Ltd, decreased 0.66 per cent, and Elgi Equipments Ltd, lost 0.6 per cent today. The S&P BSE Capital Goods index went up 18.48 per cent in 2021 compared with a 4.77 per cent fall in the benchmark SENSEX.
