The US Senate passed a bill that will make Daylight Saving Time permanent, hence ending time switches in the springtime and autumn should the House pass their version. The Senate passed S.623, also known as the Sunshine Protection Act, to make Daylight Saving Time permanent.
The bill, if also passed by the House of Representatives and signed into law by President Joe Biden will set a permanent Daylight Saving Time and stop the need to change clocks’ times every March and November.
