The United Kingdom forced new safety and health measures as cases of omicron variant soars in several countries. Wearing Face masks have become mandatory again in shops and public transport due to the new variant of Covid-19. The British government aims for a booster vaccine for people aged 18 years or above by the end of January.
Vaccination centres in London saw many people coming for their vaccine doses on Friday as concerns increased about the new omicron variant. The vaccine shots are being given in hospitals, doctor’s offices and in more than 1,500 pharmacy communities.
