TVS Motors on 16 November announced that it had forged a partnership with Zurich-based Emil Frey Group to enter the European Market.

The company has signed an import and distribution pact with the Zurich-based company, which is a 100 year-old enterprise and a leading name in the automobile distributive sector.

Sudarshan Venu, MD of TVS Motors Company, said that this partnership is a significant step towards the global expansion of the company that will leverage Emil Frey’s extensive distribution network and deep market insight into the European market.

He added, “This strategic alliance with Emil Frey is a crucial step in our global expansion strategy. Europe will be a key market for us, and through this partnership, we aim to bring our cutting-edge products closer to European customers.”

Emil Frey is among the leading automobile importers and retailers in Europe and has been serving many leading automobile brands across the region.

Under the partnership, Emil Frey Group will take charge of the distribution of the company’s product in selected countries, using their sales, marketing, and service networks.

The products that are set to be made available in Europe include Jupiter 125, Raider, iQube S, NTORQ, Apache RR 310, Ronin, and Apache RTR 310.

TVS Motors products are currently being sold in 80-plus countries that span across geographies of Asia, Latin America, and Africa. Moreover, exports comprise nearly 25% of the company’s business.
