Toyota Kirloskar Motors, has commercially unveiled the midsize sedan Yaris, in four variants further segmented into eight iterations.
The starting price is Rs.8.75 lakh and the top-end version is priced at Rs.14.07 lakh (both prices ex-showroom). These introductory prices are same across the country and will be revised at a later date.
The company has lauched Yaris only in the petrol variant and it will be offered in a 1.5 L Dual VVTi gasoline engine with a 7-speed CVT or 6 speed MT options. Further, it comes with power driver seats, roof mounted air vents for rear passengers, hand-gesture-controlled infotainment system, 7 Airbags, anti-lock braking system with EBD and vehicle stability control, to name a few features.
