From Friday the mobile users will have to pay less for roaming as leading operators like Airtel, Vodafone, Idea and RCom have reduced their roaming rates by up to 75%.

While in roaming the call rates will be cheaper by up to 40 per cent and the SMS will be up to 75 per cent.

Bharti Airtel said that its incoming call rates will be reduced by up to 40 per cent, while the outgoing inter circle call rates will see a decline of up to 23 per cent.

Airtel in a statement said, the outgoing local rates will be reduced by up to 20 percent  and it also reduced the out going local SMS rate by up to 75 percent whereas the outgoing inter circle SMS rates will be reduced by up to 74 per cent.

Likewise other companies have also reduced the tariff.
