On Monday, IT giant Tata Consultancy Services said it had struck a deal with Norwegian government agency Bane NOR to give employees, partners, and train operators secure access to its digital infrastructure.
Under the agreement, TCS teams in Norway and across Europe will provide services covering Identity Governance and Administration (IGA), Access Management, Identity Lifecycle Management and Application Management operations in a managed service model. Bane NOR maintains, operates and develops the Norwegian railway network.
“TCS presented a comprehensive plan and process to support Bane NOR, and we are confident in the decision to award them the contract. They have proven to be the right fit, especially TCS’ ability to be a strategic partner and overall approach to IGA plus Access to local and global resources demonstrated their ability to meet Bane NOR’s needs,” said Tom Remberg, CISO, Bane NOR.
Bane NOR needed an end-to-end partner to secure better employee, partner and training operator access to business systems.
