On Thursday, the Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) said that it will be establishing FC Kohli Centre on Intelligent Systems (KCIS) at International Institute of Information Technology (Hyderabad) with an investment of Rs 20 crore.
In a statement TCS said, KCIS will act as an umbrella organisation at the institute to both strengthen the existing groups and facilitate new activities in the related areas.
The release further added that KCIS will also focus on entrepreneurship promotion in the intelligent system area as startup companies are the best means to transform the research in the academic labs for the benefit of the society at large.
