Tata Steel Ltd gained 1.12% on December 9 to trade at Rs 113.1. The S&P BSE Metal index is up 0.69%. The index is up 5.36 % over November. Other stocks Steel Authority of India Ltd added 0.93%, and National Aluminium Company Ltd increased by 0.95%. The S&P BSE Metal index went up 6.22 % in 2021 compared to the 6.6% surge in the benchmark Sensex.

Tata Steel Ltd has added 6.55% over November compared to a 5.36% gain in the S&P BSE Metal index and a 2.71% rise in the Sensex. Total 1.08 lakh shares were traded compared to the daily average volume of 34.31 lakh on November 22.
On April 6 2022, the stock hit a record high of Rs 138.63. On June 23 2022, the stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 82.71.
