Tata Power shares traded in the green and reached a 52-week high of Rs 262.30 on 4 September after the company signed an agreement for a 6-megawatt AC project with Chalet Hotels.
Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited, a subsidiary of Tata Power, signed a power delivery agreement with Chalet Hotels for a 6-megawatt AC project.
The plant is said to generate 13.75 million units of clean energy from renewable sources in this agreement.
In August, Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited signed a power delivery agreement with global automotive systems and parts industry leader ANAND Group, which will generate 10 million units of clean energy through renewable sources. The company expects to eliminate around 5,500 tonnes of carbon emissions annually.
In August, the company also signed a power purchase agreement with a 9-megawatt on-campus solar plant with Tata Motors Pantnagar plant in Uttarakhand. The project will be commissioned within 6 months and will acquire both the roof space and ground available at the facility.
At 3:00 p.m., the shares of Tata Power were trading at Rs 259.55 or 1.68% above its previous close on NSE.
