Shares of Tata Power gained during the early trading hours on 29 August after the company’s subsidiary signed an agreement for a 4.4-megawatt solar plant.
The company’s subsidiary, Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited, has signed a Group Captive Power Delivery Agreement for 4.4 megawatts AC with the ANAND Group.
Through this agreement, the company will generate 10 million units of clean energy through renewable sources.
Before this, ANAND Group and Tata Power had entered into a collaboration for a 10.1 megawatts Solar PV park power project that is located in Maharashtra.
With the addition of this project, the total renewable capacity of Tata Power Renewable Energy Ltd has touched a total of 7,787 megawatts, including 3,655 megawatts of projects that are under various stages of implementation, and its current operational capacity of 4,132 megawatts, including 3,139 megawatts of solar power and 993 megawatts on wind power.
On 24 August, Tata Power subsidiary, Tata Power EV Charging Solutions Limited, partnered with Zoomcar to facilitate widespread adaptation of electric vehicles and deliver a seamless and user-friendly charging experience to EV users across India.
