Tata Power has appointed Praveer Sinha, as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Managing Director (MD), with effect from May 1,2018.
As per the company statement, he is currently the CEO & MD of Tata Power Delhi Distribution Ltd (Tata Power-DDL). The Tata Power-DDL is a public private partnership, between Tata Power and the Delhi government, which supplies power in North and North-West Delhi.
Further, N Chandrasekaran, Tata Power Chairman stated, “Praveer’s extensive experience in the power sector and his ability to drive performance, maximize returns and work seamlessly with stakeholders will be very valuable for Tata Power as it looks to strengthen and expand its position in fast-evolving energy market”.
