Tata Motors recently launched the facelift version of its compact sedan Tigor, at the price range between Rs 5.20 lakh and Rs 7.38 lakh (ex-showroom). The petrol variants of the model have priced between Rs 5.20 lakh and Rs 6.65 lakh, whereas the diesel variant is priced from Rs 6.09 lakh to Rs 7.38 lakh.
Tata Motors CEO and MD Guenter Butschek said, “The compact sedan segment has been an important space for customers seeking premium-ness at best value coupled with bold and attractive looks.”
He also added, “The company is confident that the new Tigor will create excitement towards the brand, fostering the ongoing PV (passenger vehicles) growth journey.” The petrol variants of the facelift Tigor are equipped with a 1.2-litre engine meanwhile the diesel car is powered by 1.05-litre power-train.
Earlier this month, Tata Motors introduced a new premium variant of its SUV, Hexa with 16 new features, tagged at Rs 15.27 lakh (ex-showroom). The Hexa XM+ has been launched with electric sunroof along with a two years warranty.
The company said in a statement, “With turnaround 2.0 in play, we have continued to deepen our focus towards catering to the evolving customer demands by introducing new products and variants at regular intervals.”
Tata Motors passenger vehicle business units vice-president for sales, marketing and customer support SN Barman, stated: “With the launch of the Hexa XM+, we are further strengthening this product range.”
