On Monday, Tata Consumer Products said it had entered the health supplement space with its plant-based protein powder launch.
Tata GoFit is a line of women’s health products, a plant-based, easy-to-mix product with gut-friendly probiotic benefits.
“The latest launch is in line with TCP’s focus on accelerating innovation, strengthening its health product portfolio and expanding its overall target market,” Tata Group’s FMCG division said. Deepika Bhan, President of Packaged Foods (India), Tata Consumer Products, said while launching the new product, more and more consumers are focusing on fitness and nutritional intake while making choices.
“Tata GoFit is specially developed for women with an innovative and differentiated formula with easy-to-digest enzymes and gut-friendly probiotics. We believe Tata Consumer Products are well positioned to unlock the market potential in the plant-based protein powder segment, and it is responsible for addressing changing consumer needs,” she said.
