On Monday, Escorts Kubota Ltd lost 2.24% today to trade at Rs 2,028.35. The S&P BSE Auto index is down 0.26% to quote at 30,206.87. The index is up 2.86% over August month. Among the other constituents of the index, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd decreased by 0.67% and Cummins India Ltd lost 0.53% on the day. The S&P BSE Auto index went up 33.21% over the last year compared to the 1.64% surge in benchmark SENSEX.

Escorts Kubota Ltd added 23.4% over August 2022 compared to a 2.86% gain in the S&P BSE Auto index and a 1.19% rise in the SENSEX. On the BSE, 4,840 shares were traded in the counter so far compared with average daily volumes of 34,518 shares in August month. The stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 1,287.85 on September 2, 2021.
