The pharmaceutical stock is quoted at Rs 944.3, up 1.46 per cent on the NSE. The benchmark NIFTY is up around 1.54 per cent on the day, quoting at 17077.25. The Sensex is at 57372.81, up 1.71 per cent. The Industries gained around 8.31 per cent in August.
Meanwhile, the Nifty Metal index of Sun Pharmaceuticals Industries Ltd gained around 3.02 per cent in August 2021 and is currently quoting at 12874.3, up 0.46 per cent on the day. The volume in the stock stood at 22.15 lakh shares on Friday (today) compared to the daily average of 31.65 lakh shares in August.
In the October futures contract, the stock’s benchmark is at Rs 945.8, up 1.02 per cent on the day.
