The GIFT Nifty futures, which is an early indicator of the Nifty50 index, was trading 0.15% lower by 35 points at 22,923, indicating that the domestic benchmark indices are likely to make a negative start on Thursday.
On Wednesday, 19 February, Domestic benchmark indices S&P BSE Sensex slumped by 28.21 points or 0.04% and settled at 75,939.18, while the Nifty50 traded 0.05% lower by 12.40 points, settling at 22,932.90.

Patanjali Foods: The Rs 186 crore tax demand that was raised by the Income Tax Department has been quashed by the Supreme Court. The tax notice was in regard to the pre-corporate Insolvency Resolution Process period.

DLF: The company has received approval from the National Company Law Tribunal to merge four of its subsidiaries, which are DLF Info City Developers (Kolkata), DLF Lands India, DLF Emporio, and DLF City Centre.
