The GIFT Nifty futures, which is an early indicator of the Nifty50 index, was trading 0.56% lower by 125.5 points at 22,452, indicating that the domestic benchmark indices are likely to make a negative start on Wednesday.
On Tuesday, 2 April, Domestic benchmark indices snapped their three-day gaining streak. S&P BSE Sensex lost 110.64 points, or 0.15%, to end at 73,903.91, while the Nifty50 traded up by 8.70 points, or 0.04% and settled at 22,453.30.
