Stocks in Focus: Suzlon Energy, Lemon Tree Hotels, HG Infra Engineering, and Others

The GIFT Nifty futures, which is an early indicator of the Nifty50 index, was trading 0.32% higher by 81 points at 25,061 indicating that the domestic benchmark indices are likely to make a positive start on Tuesday. 

On Monday, 9 September, Domestic benchmark indices S&P BSE Sensex soared 375 points or 0.46%, to end at 81,560 while the Nifty50 traded 84.25 points or 0.34% higher, and settled at 24,936.

Here are some stocks that are likely to remain in focus on 10 September.

Suzlon Energy: The company has announced securing India’s largest wind energy order from NTPC Green Energy Ltd, which is the renewable subsidiary of NTPC Ltd, for 1,166 megawatt (MW). The company will provide and install 370 wind turbine generators (WTGs) of S144 that will be equipped with a Hybrid Lattice Tubular (HLT) tower. 

Lemon Tree Hotels: The company has signed a licence agreement through Lemon Tree Hotel, Nashik, Maharashtra. The new property will be managed by a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company and will have 57 well-appointed rooms, a restaurant, a banquet, a bar, and much more. 

HG Infra Engineering: The company has announced securing a Rs 781 crore contract from the Ministry of Road and Transport and Highways for upgrading National Highway 47.  

GMR Airports Infrastructure: The has announced its plans to acquire a 10% majority stake in Delhi International Airport Ltd from Fraport AG Frankfurt Airport Services Worldwide for a total consideration of $126 million.

Tata Power: The subsidiary of the company, TP Solar Ltd has announced commencing the production of solar cells at its Tamil Nadu plant. This development is expected to boost domestic manufacturing of cells and modules. 

Infosys: The Securities Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has lifted restrictions that were imposed on 16 entities, including some former employees of the company for alleged insider trading activities in the company’s shares. 

Dixon Technologies: The subsidiary of the company, Padget Electronics is set to partner up with HP India to manufacture desktops, notebooks, and all-in-one PCs in Chennai under the 2.0 scheme. The new facility in partnership with HP India is set to create 1,500 jobs and produce 2 million units per annum.
