The GIFT Nifty futures, which is an early indicator of the Nifty50 index, was trading 0.42% higher by 96 points at 23,036, indicating that the domestic benchmark indices are likely to make a positive start on Wednesday.
On Tuesday, 18 February, Domestic benchmark indices S&P BSE Sensex slumped by 29.47 points or 0.04% and settled at 75,967.39 while the Nifty50 traded 0.06% lower by 14 points, settling at 22,945.30.

Rail Vikas Nigam: The company has announced securing a contract worth Rs 554.47 crore from Rail Infrastructure Development Company (Karnataka) Ltd for constructing nine stations under Corridor-4A of the Bengaluru Suburban Rail Project along with one elevated and eight at-grade stations.
Transformers and Rectifiers: The company has announced that it is securing an order worth Rs 166.45 crore to supply single-phase coupling transformers and single-phase transformers for TBCB projects from Hyosung T&D India.
Piramal Pharma: The US Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) has conducted a Good Manufacturing Practice inspection at the company’s Turbhe facility in Navi Mumbai. The inspection took place between 11 February and 17 February, and the US regulator concluded the inspection by issuing a Form 483 with 6 observations.
Aurobindo Pharma: The USFDA conducted a pre-approval inspection at its Eugia Steriles Private facility in Andhra Pradesh between 10 February and 18 February and concluded with five procedural observations.
Larsen and Toubro: The company has announced acquiring the remaining 26% stake in L&T Special Steels and Heavy Forgings Private Ltd from Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited for a total consideration of Rs 170 crore, making it a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company.
Infosys: The company has announced entering into a long-term partnership with Lufthansa Systems GmbH and Lufthansa Group. As a part of the agreement, the company will set up a Global Capability Centre in Bengaluru.
CONCOR: The company has awarded a supply contract worth Rs 689.76 crore to Braithwaite & Co. under the Ministry of Railways to manufacture and supply 30 BLSS (spine car) rakes on a turnkey basis.
RBM Infracon: The company has announced receiving a service order worth Rs 7.22 crore from Reliance Industries for mechanical works for Phase-1B.
