Stocks in Focus: Rail Vikas Nigam, HCL Technologies, IREDA, Lupin, and Others

The GIFT Nifty futures, which is an early indicator of the Nifty50 index, was trading 0.23% higher by 57 points at 24,603 indicating that the domestic benchmark indices are likely to make a positive start on Monday.

On Friday, 12 July, Domestic benchmark indices S&P BSE Sensex soared 622 points or 0.78%, to end at 80,519.35, while the Nifty50 traded 186 points or 0.77% higher and settled at 24,502.15.

Here are some stocks that are likely to remain in focus on 15 July.

HCL Technologies: In its quarterly earnings for April-June, the company reported a 2% year-on-year decline in its revenue from operations to Rs 28,057 crore, whereas the net profit during the quarter increased 7% YoY to Rs 4,257 crore. 

Rail Vikas Nigam: The company received a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) for overhead modification work up-gradation of the existing 1 x 25 kV electric traction system from Central Railway for a total consideration of Rs 132.59 crore. 

IREDA: In its quarterly earnings for the quarter ending 30 June, the company reported a 30% YoY growth to Rs 383.69 crore from Rs 294.58 crore reported in the same quarter of the previous fiscal year. 

Lupin: The company secured approval from the US Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) to market topiramate extended-release capsules, a generic medication used to treat seizures. 

Suven Pharma: Suven Pharmaceuticals received a Form 483 with two procedural observations following a US FDA inspection of Casper Pharma in Hyderabad and acquired a 51% stake in Sapala Organics.

Avenue Supermarts: The company that owns and operates D-Mart announced a 17.5% YoY increase in net profit to Rs 773.82 crore during Q1FY25 from Rs 658.71 crore reported in Q1FY24. 

Alembic Pharma: The company received tentative approval from the USFDA for its Selexipag for Injection, 1,800 mcg per vial, which is used to treat pulmonary arterial hypertension. 

Godrej Consumer Products: The company has launched its new mosquito repellent liquid vaporizers and agarbattis, using the indigenously developed and patented molecule Renofluthrin.
