Stocks in Focus: Rail Vikas Nigam, Bharat Electronics, HG Infra Engineering, and Others

The GIFT Nifty futures, which is an early indicator of the Nifty50 index, was trading 0.51% lower by 116 points at 22,792, indicating that the domestic benchmark indices are likely to make a negative start on Friday. 

On Thursday, 20 February, Domestic benchmark indices S&P BSE Sensex slumped by 203.22 points or 0.27% and settled at 75,735.96 while the Nifty50 traded 0.09% lower by 19.75 points, settling at 22,913.15.

Here are some stocks that are likely to remain in focus on 21 February.

Rail Vikas Nigam: The company, along with Aerial Telecom Solutions and HFCL, has partnered with BSNL to enhance broadband connectivity in India. 

Bharat Electronics: The company has announced that it is signing a contract worth Rs 1,034 crore with the Ministry of Defence to supply Software Defined Radios and Data Communication Terminals to the Indian Coast Guard.

HG Infra Engineering: The company has finished the stake sale of its stake in Rewari Bypass to Highways Infrastructure Trust for a total consideration of Rs 133.03 crore. 

NTPC Green Energy: The company’s subsidiary, NTPC, has announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Bharat Light and Power to accelerate green energy initiatives with a focus on infrastructure for green hydrogen.

JM Financial: The company has received a tax refund of Rs 230 crore along with interest for the assessment year 2008-09 from the Deputy Commissioner of Income Tax.

ITI: The company has received an initial payment of Rs 100 crore from the C-DoT for land at Electronic City, Bangalore. As a part of the agreement, the company will transfer 22.258 acres to C-DoT for a total consideration of Rs 200 crore. 

Delta Corp: The company, along with its subsidiary, Deltatech Gaming (DGL), has entered into an agreement with Head Digital Works. As a part of the deal, Head Digital will acquire a 51% stake in Deltatech Gaming, and DGL will merge with Head Digital. 

Cipla: The company has received final approval from the US Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) for Nilotinib capsules 50 mg, 150 mg, and 200 mg, which are used to treat Philadelphia chromosome-positive chronic myeloid leukaemia (CML).

Berger Paints: The National Stock Exchange (NSE) has decided to exclude the company from the future and options segment from 25 April.

Amara Raja Energy and Mobility: The NSE has decided to add the company to the Future and Options segment on 28 February.
