Stocks in Focus: Power Grid, KIMS, Thomas Cook India, and Others

The GIFT Nifty futures, which is an early indicator of the Nifty50 index, was trading 0.53% lower by 121.5 points at 22,888.5, indicating that the domestic benchmark indices are likely to make a negative start on Tuesday. 

On Monday, 17 February, Domestic benchmark indices S&P BSE Sensex gained by 57.65 points or 0.08% and settled at 75,996.86 while the Nifty50 traded 0.13% higher by 30.25 points, settling at 22,959.50.

Here are some stocks that are likely to remain in focus on 18 February.

Quarterly Results Today: Elantas Beck and Bharat Global Developers are some of the prominent companies set to announce their quarterly earnings for October-December. 

Power Grid Corporation: The company has announced emerging as successful in establishing a new pooling substation in Karnataka and ICT augmentation works at the currently under-construction substation in Rajasthan. 

Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences: The company has announced taking over operations and management of UAIMS Hospital in Sangli, and the hospital will be rebranded as KIMS-UAIMS Hospital.

Thomas Cook India: The company, along with its subsidiary SOTC Travel, has announced signing a deal with Malaysia’s Sabah Tourism Board to boost the Sabah region as a key travel destination for Indian tourism. 

Zomato: The company has introduced Nugget, which is a no-code customer support platform to handle and automate 80% of customer queries. 

Deepak Fertilisers: Deepak Mining Solutions, a subsidiary of the company, has increased its stake in Platinum Blasting Services Pty Limited, which is an Australian subsidiary of Deepak Fertilizers. 

Uno Minda: The company has signed a Joint Venture Agreement with Uno Minda Auto Innovations, Innovance Automotive (HK) Investment Co., and Suzhou Innovance Automotive Co. for developing and manufacturing high-voltage powertrain products for commercial EVs and 4-wheelers PV. 

Bharti Airtel: The promoter of the company, Indian Continent Investment, is looking to divest a 0.8% stake in the company through block deals.

One97 Communications: The company’s subsidiary, Paytm Services, has announced a partnership deal with SBI Mutual Fund to launch JanNivesh Rs 250 SIP, enabling financial inclusion and empowering citizens to invest in their future. 

Gabriel India: The company has executed a license agreement to grant a license to manufacture, assemble, sell, distribute, and market certain products in India with Marelli Suspension Systems Italy S.p.A (Marelli Italy). 

SBI Cards and Payments Services: The Board of Directors of the company has approved an interim dividend of Rs 2.50 per share for the current fiscal year and has set 25 February as the record date.
