The GIFT Nifty futures, which is an early indicator of the Nifty50 index, was trading 0.17% lower by 41 points at 23,714, indicating that the domestic benchmark indices are likely to make a negative start on Thursday.
On Wednesday, 8 January, Domestic benchmark indices S&P BSE Sensex slipped 50.62 points or 0.06% and settled at 78,148.49 while the Nifty50 traded slumped 18.95 points or 0.08%, settling at 23,688.95.
