The GIFT Nifty futures were trading mixed before the market’s opening on Friday. Indices are expected to open on a similar flattish note.
Domestic benchmark indices, NSE Nifty 50 and S&P BSE Sensex, settled on a subdued note on Thursday after a two-day rally. Nifty ended 9.85 points or 0.05% lower to settle at 19,802.00, while Sensex closed at 66,017.81, down merely 5.43 points or 0.01%.

Lupin: The global pharma major has received tentative approval from the United States Food and Drug Administration (US FDA) for its Abbreviated New Drug Application for Canagliflozin Tablets, its bromfenac ophthalmic solution, and to market a generic equivalent of Invokana® Tablets of Janssen Pharmaceuticals. Lupin has also announced the launch of Vilfuro-G, the world’s first fixed-dose triple combination drug (FDC) for treating chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) in India.
Apar Ind: The company’s board has approved the launch of the issue of qualified institution placement (QIP) with an issue size of Rs 1,000 crore and an indicative price of Rs 5264. The floor price is at a discount of around 2.5% from yesterday’s close.
L&T Finance: The Non-banking financial company (NBFC) has inked a financing agreement with the Asian Development Bank (ADB) for $125 million to support financing in rural and peri-urban areas in India, particularly for women borrowers. The funding comprises a loan of up to $125 million from ADB and an agreement to syndicate an additional $125 million co-financing from other development partners.
JSW Steel: The company has completed the entire strategic investment of Rs 750 crore in JSW Paints, a Sajjan Jindal-owned JSW Group company. With the last tranche of investment, the company now holds a 12.84% stake in JSW Paints.
LTIMindtree: The company has tested and launched its Quantum-Safe virtual private network (VPN) link in London in partnership with Quantum Xchange and Fortinet on the platform to secure data transmission for the quantum computing era.
