Stocks in Focus: Jupiter Wagons, Mahanagar Gas, Dixon Technologies, and Others

The GIFT Nifty futures, which is an early indicator of the Nifty50 index, was trading 0.09% lower by 23 points at 24,380, indicating that the domestic benchmark indices are likely to make a negative start on Tuesday.

On Monday, 8 July, Domestic benchmark indices S&P BSE Sensex slumped 36.21 points or 0.05%, to end at 79,960.39, while the Nifty50 traded 3.30 points or 0.01% lower and settled at 24,320.55.

Here are some stocks that are likely to remain in focus on 9 July.

Jupiter Wagons: The company’s fundraising committee has approved the launch of a qualified institutional placement (QIP) at a floor price of Rs 689.47 per equity share.

Dixon Technologies: The company announced its plans to divest its entire stake of 50% in the Joint Venture company AIL Dixon Tech to Aditya Infotech. As a part of this divestment, the company will acquire a 6.5% stake in Aditya Infotech in exchange. 

Mahanagar Gas: The state-run company has increased the price of domestic Piped Natural Gas (PNG) and Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) to partially nullify the growing gas cost. The price of CNG has increased by Rs 1.50 per kilogram, and the price of PNG has increased by Rs 1 per standard cubic meter in and around Mumbai. 

Container Corp: During the April-June quarter, the company reported a 6% year-on-year increase in total volumes, handling 11.59 lakh twenty-foot equivalent units compared to 10.93 lakh twenty-foot equivalent units during the same quarter last year. 

Torrent Power: The company’s subsidiary, Torrent Urja 14, is set to establish solar projects with a capacity of around 50 megawatts (MW) for providing clean energy to ARS Steels & Alloy International (ARS).

Swan Energy: Three Blackrock-affiliated companies have acquired a stake in the company worth Rs 304 crore via an open market transaction. Dovetail India Fund and 2I Capital PCC were the investors who sold 12 lakh shares and 15 lakh shares, respectively, at an average price of Rs 666.2 per share.
