The GIFT Nifty futures, which is an early indicator of the Nifty50 index, was trading 0.37% higher by 92 points at 25,070 indicating that the domestic benchmark indices are likely to make a positive start on Thursday. 

On Wednesday, 11 September, Domestic benchmark indices S&P BSE Sensex slumped 398 points or 0.49%, to end at 81,523, while the Nifty50 traded 123 points or 0.49% lower and settled at 24,918.

Larsen and Touro: The company’s subsidiary, L&T Semiconductor Technologies, has announced its plans to Invest Rs 2,500 crore ($300 million) over the next three years to set up a fabless semiconductor project. 

NBCC: The company has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd for a project worth Rs 1,600 crore, which involves developing a land parcel of MTNL in New Delhi.

Adani Ports: Adani Ports and Special Economic Zones have announced a concession agreement with DPA to develop Berth No 13 at Deendayal Port, Kandla. 

Wipro: The company is assisting JFK International Air Terminal (JFKIAT) – the operator of JFK’s Terminal 4 for developing a cloud data strategy that will leverage Microsoft’s Azure Data Platform. 

Route Mobile: The promoter of the company Proximus Opal is planning to divest 38 lakh shares, representing a6.03% stake in the company via an offer for sale. 

Tata Steel: The company has received a £500 million grant from the UK government for its green steel project at the Talbot facility. This funding will be used to install state-of-the-art electric arc furnaces, which will transition the plant to greener steelmaking. 

Nazara Technologies: The company, through its wholly-owned subsidiary, NAzara Dubai FZ, has acquired a 15..86% stake in GetStan Technologies Pte Ltd for a total consideration of Rs 18.4 crore in an all-cash secondary transaction.
