The GIFT Nifty futures were trading in a flattish range before the market’s opening on Tuesday. Indices are expected to open on a similar sombre note.
Domestic benchmark indices, NSE Nifty 50 and S&P BSE Sensex, extended gains for a second day following firm trends in the US markets. Nifty climbed 0.44% or 94.35 points to settle at 21,349.05, while Sensex went up by 241.86 points or 0.34% to 71,106.96.

Aurobindo Pharma: The pharma company announced that the US Food and Drug Administration (US FDA) conducted a pre-approval inspection (PAI) from December 11 to 22 at the new injectable facility of a step-down wholly owned subsidiary of Aurobindo Pharma in New Jersey. The inspection resulted in 10 observations, procedural in nature.
Adani Green Energy: The renewable energy company has inked a power purchase agreement (PPA) with the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) to supply 1,799 megawatts (Mw) of solar power.
