Stocks in Focus: Adani Enterprises, Tata Power, SBI and Others

The mid-cap and small-cap indices performed well with respective rises of 0.8% and 1.1%.

The GIFT Nifty futures were trading in the green before the market’s opening on Tuesday. Indices are expected to open on a similar flat-to-positive note.

Domestic benchmark indices, NSE Nifty 50 and S&P BSE Sensex closed lower for the second consecutive session on Tuesday. The Nifty closed 37.55 points, or 0.19%, down at 19,694.25, while the Sensex fell 139.58 points, or 0.21%, to settle at 65,655.15. 

Here are some stocks likely to be in focus on November 21.

ABB India, Titagarh Rail Systems: The companies have entered into a strategic partnership to supply propulsion systems for metro rolling stock projects in India. Under the agreement, Titagarh will purchase ABB propulsion systems, including traction converters, auxiliary converters, traction motors, and TCMS software.

Container Corp, Indraprastha Gas Ltd: Concor has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with IGL to set up LNG and LCNG infrastructure within its terminals to explore the feasibility of transporting LNG through railway rakes from the said terminals.

Adani Enterprises: Mumbai Travel Retail Pvt, a subsidiary of Adani Enterprises, has incorporated its wholly-owned subsidiary, MTRPL Macau Ltd, for bidding on the tender of duty-free liquor and tobacco shops at Macau International Airport.

State Bank Of India: The government has appointed Vinay M Tonse as the bank’s Managing Director, extending his tenure until November 30, 2025.

Tata Power: Tata Power Renewable Energy surpassed the 1.4-gigawatt capacity of group captive projects in the last seven months. The achievement is attributed to signing power delivery agreements with various industries across segments.

ICICI Lombard General Insurance: The company has appointed Sanjeev Mantri as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer for five years, effective December 1, 2023. 

IRCTC: The Railway Ministry has permitted IRCTC for long-term tenders for 7 years for catering on trains, subject to satisfactory performance on completion of the initial 5-year term and through clustering of trains. Additionally, the Rail Neer plant has commenced commercial production with a daily capacity of 72,000 litres.

Tech Mahindra: Tech Mahindra Americas has inked a collaboration deal with Neom group companies to provide product and platform development services. It will incorporate a new subsidiary for the same.

Vascon Engineer: The company has received a letter of intent from Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC), Pune, to construct a general hospital building for PCMC Hospital in Moshi for Rs 356.78 crore.
