Steel Authority of India Ltd has added 5.59 per cent over October compared to an 8.1 per cent gain in the S&P BSE Metal index and a 3.56 per cent rise in the SENSEX.
Steel Authority of India Ltd gained 1.99 per cent on Monday to trade at Rs 82.2. The S&P BSE Metal index is up 0.69 per cent. The index is up 8.1 per cent over October. Some other stocks are APL Apollo Tubes Ltd increased by 1.44 per cent, and Tata Steel Ltd added 1.42 per cent. The S&P, BSE Metal index, went up 4.55 per cent over 2021 compared to the 2.99 per cent surge in benchmark SENSEX.

Steel Authority of India Ltd has added 5.59 per cent over 2021 as compared to an 8.1 per cent gain in the S&P BSE Metal index and a 3.56 per cent rise in the SENSEX. On the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), 44834 shares were traded compared to daily average volumes of 12.52 lakh shares in October 2022.
On 13 December 2022, the stock hit a record high of Rs 121.1, whereas on 20 June 2022, the stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 63.6.
