On Wednesday, Standard Chartered Bank (Singapore) Ltd sold 1.38 crore shares to CG Power and Industrial Solutions for Rs 298 crore in open market trading.
Standard Chartered Bank (Singapore) Ltd sold 1,38,45,000 shares in six tranches, representing a 0.91% stake in the company, according to block trade data provided by the BSE.
The shares were sold at an average price of Rs 215 per share, bringing the deal value to Rs 297.66 crore. Meanwhile, Societe Generale, DSP Mutual Fund and HDFC Life Insurance company Ltd acquired stakes in the company. Shares of CG Power and Industrial Solutions were up 1.65% at Rs 219.25 at the close on the BSE.
