Today, on National Stock Exchange (NSE), the shares of Sportking India surged by 11.31 per cent to Rs 1018 of its debut. The company has announced approval for listing its shares on NSE from tomorrow (24 August 2022). On 22 August 2022, the listing of the company’s 1,32,87,200 equity shares of Rs 10 each was approved.

On the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), 68,000 shares were traded on the Sportking India counter, with an average daily volume of 19,730 shares in the last two weeks. The company’s shares hit a high of Rs 1074 and a low of Rs 925. In October 2021, the stock hit a 52-week high of Rs 2046.95. Meanwhile, the company’s stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 773.3 on 21 June 2022.
The scrip underperformed the market in the past quarter, gaining 3.57 per cent against Sensex’s 8.65 per cent rise. Also, the scrip had underperformed the market in the past year, falling 0.87 per cent against Sensex’s 6.17 per cent rise. The consolidated net profit of Sportking India rose by 5.18 per cent to Rs 83.08 crore on 34.86 per cent, which increased in net sales to Rs 606.32 crore in the first quarter of FY23 over the first quarter of FY22.
