Nikesh Arora, CEO of leading Japanese Internet company Softbank, has announced his resignation.
Arora joined Softbank in July 2014 and led its investment strategy that includes several Indian startups such as Snapdeal, Grofers, Ola, OYO Rooms and Housing.com, among others.
Yesterday, he was given a clean chit in a probe into alleged foul play in the firm’s investments in Indian start-ups Oyo Rooms and Housing.com.
