Singapore has vaccinated 96 per cent of the eligible population, and the government is trying to give booster doses amid concerns over the Omicron variant. The health ministry of Singapore has the highest vaccination rates globally, they said after updating the official vaccination rate.
As of Nov 29, 96 per cent of the eligible population had taken the complete vaccination, updated from 94 per cent, the ministry said. That explains that about 86 per cent of the total population of approximately 5.5 million. In the last two months, 82 per cent of the total population has been fully vaccinated against the Covid-19 virus.

Singapore had restricted unvaccinated people from entering shopping malls in mid-October. The government has said they will continue strict restrictions from Jan 1, and only fully vaccinated citizens will be allowed to enter workplaces.
