Shweta Rajpal Kohli, Uber’s chief of policy for India and South Asia has quit from her position.
Shweta was an Indian journalist, before she had join Uber in the last year. She will joining cloud-based software maker Salesforce.com Inc next month.
Shweta was mainly responsible for building Uber’s relations with regulators and government officials in India, the aspect where the firm has faced several regulatory and reputational obstacles.
Moreover, on Monday Uber has entered into a consortium, led by SoftBank and Dragoneer Investment Group on a potential investment.
