NMDC Ltd has jumped over the August month compared to a 1.5 per cent gain in the S&P BSE Metal index and a 2.07 per cent rise in the SENSEX. Today, NMDC Ltd rose 2.13 per cent to trade at Rs 124.95.

The S&P BSE Metal index is up by 0.95 per cent to quote 19220.07. The index is up 1.5 per cent in August month. Hindalco Industries Ltd jumped to 2.08 per cent, and National Aluminium Company Ltd added 2.07 per cent. The S&P, BSE Metal index went down 7.17 per cent in the year 2021, which is compared to the 2.96 per cent surge in benchmark SENSEX.
On the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), 1.05 lakh shares were traded compared to daily average volumes of 7.51 lakh in August. On 11 April, the stock hit a record high of Rs 175.4. Similarly, on 15 July 2022, the stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 99.6.
