Yulu, one of India’s top electric mobility firms, announced the debut of Wynn, a micro-electric scooter for personal ownership, for an initial price of Rs 55,555 on Friday. Delivery will begin in mid-May. Wynn will be available for Rs 59,999 after the introductory period.

According to Yulu, Wynn results from years of learning and research into user behaviour and the urban transportation demands of a diverse range of clients. It is an intelligent electric two-wheeler built for effortless movement, with a straightforward gender-neutral design and a smart operating system with an over-the-air (OTA) connection. It is suitable for people of all ages.

A swappable battery can be replaced at any Yuma Energy network battery swapping station – a Yulu & Magna joint venture. The battery may also be charged at home with a portable charger available as an accessory.

According to the statement, Wynn allows consumers to enjoy an ownership experience through its mobility subscription packs, which cut the initial cost of ownership by 40%. Customers will not have to pay for the batteries and chargers as part of their ownership model.

Yulu’s motorcycles will be manufactured in Bajaj Auto’s CTL factory.

Yulu secured $82 million in its Series B fundraising round headed by Magna International Inc. in September 2022. Over the next 12 months, Yulu intends to invest the funds in product and technological innovation and expand its electric vehicle (EV) fleet to more than one lakh two-wheelers and 500 and more battery charging and swapping stations.
