The market ended with positive move, the benchmark Sensex ended up 359.25 points or 1.4 percent at 26840.50, and the Nifty was also up 102.05 points or 1.3 percent at 8124.45.
In the intra session, rupee was trading 14 paise higher at Rs 63.78 against the dollar.
Among the top gainers in Sensex were, BHEL, Wipro, Reliance, L&T, Bajaj Auto.
