The Bombay Stock Exchange plunged over 400 points on Wednesday, breaks its crucial psychological level of 27000.
The Index has posted its worst fall since April 20, led by losses Infosys, HDFC, ICICI Bank, Axis Bank and ITC.
Nifty index has also came under pressure and breaks its crucial level of 8200.
The major laggards in Sensex are Cipla, BHEL, NTPC, Sun pharma, and ICICI Bank. Bharti Airtel is up 3% whereas Hindalco, Tata Steel and M&M are top gainers.
