Scaler Academy has taken over the online coding website Coding Elements in a cash deal of about $1 million, its cofounder Abhimanyu Saxena said. The firm was in talks with Coding Elements for about a month as it was offering a data science course to its users, Saxena said.
“The need for data science is increasing very fastly. But there is a vacuum in terms of training plans which prepare people for jobs like data scientists. We could have added a data science course to our platform in other ways as well, but purchases are the best way to quicken the journey,” he said.
