Sanjay Baweja has been appointed by Suzlon Energy as its Chief Financial Officer with effect from December 19, 2016.

Suzlon Energy has said in a BSE filing that the Board of Directors of the company at its meeting that was held on December 16, 2016, has approved the appointment of Sanjay Baweja as the Chief Financial Officer of the Company with effect from December 19, 2016.

The filing said that “Kirti Vagadia (Group CFO) will continue in his position and will focus on strategy, shareholder and board related matters at the Group level.”

It added that Sanjay Baweja is not related to any of the Directors of the Company.
