Shares of Sahaj Solar Ltd soared 3% on 25 September after the company announced securing a letter of award worth Rs 6.21 crore from Tripura Renewable Energy Development Agency (TREDA).
In its regulatory filing, the company said that it had received a letter of award for designing, manufacturing, supplying, transporting, installing, testing, commissioning, and maintaining an off-grid solar photovoltaic water pumping system of 1-10 HP for a total consideration of Rs 6.21 crore.
The company has its photovoltaic module manufacturing plant located in Bavla, Ahmedabad. The plant covers an area of 2,883.77 square meters and includes a structure of 2445.5 square meters that has both manufacturing and office space.
This automated manufacturing plant produces mono and polycrystalline PV modules for a variety of solar projects in India and overseas.
The company is in the solar power industry, offering both manufacturing and services solutions. Sahaj Solar specialises in three ares, which are solar pumping system, PV module production, and EPC (engineering, procurement, and construction) services.
However, at 3:30 pm, the shares of Sahaj Solar shed all their early gains and closed 2.65% lower at Rs 635.35 on NSE.
