RPP Infra Shares Surge 16% on Rs 310 Crore Orders

Last week, the company reported it was awarded two contracts in Maharashtra, totaling Rs 318.63 crore.

Shares of RPP Infra Projects Ltd. gained nearly 16% on the BSE after the company won orders amounting to Rs 310 crore on Tuesday, July 9.

The company won an order for the construction of a new district jail at Hapur in Uttar Pradesh having a contract value of Rs 158.82 crore, including GST. This jail is said to have a total capacity of over 1,026 inmates as per the description in the exchange filing.

Moreover, the firm also won an order for the construction of a new district jail at the Jaunpur district in Uttar Pradesh. The total contract value for the same is about Rs 152.11 crore.

Both of these projects are expected to be executed over a 3-year period. As of June 2024, the company’s order book was worth about Rs 3,200 crore.

Earlier this year, the company also won an order to upgrade Raipur Railway Station, valuing about 412.81 crore. 

Shares of RPP Infra Projects are trading 16.22% higher at Rs 166.95 on the BSE at 3:12 PM.
