Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL) which is a diversified group and also manufactures synthetic fibre has partnered with the Bhilwara-based Star Cotspin Limited which is leading manufacturer and exporter of sewing thread in India.

According to the agreement, Reliance’s Recron SHT will be the basic substrate for polyester sewing threads manufactured by Star Costpin, this yarn then will be sold, co branded with Recron SHT.

RIL, apart from branding the products, will also be providing the marketing and technical support to Star Cotspin.

For the purpose of further enhancing Recron SHT sewing thread’s quality, RIL and Star Cotspin will jointly conduct research and development work.
