Reliance Jio has given warning to its customer against fake SMS promising for free data. Fraudulent SMS claimed to have been issued by telecom operator, promises users for free data of 25 GB.
“Good news!! Jio is giving free 25GB data daily for 6 months. Download the app now and register to activate the offer, Link:  http://tiny.cc/Jionet,” claims one such fake SMS. When the user reported it to Reliance Jio, the telecom operator made it clear that it is a fake message which could be a trick to scam customers using the name of Jio.
Reliance Jio said that Jio does not send this type of messages to anyone. All jio offers related to information is transparently available in your Myjio app or on http://Jio.com. Please watch out for spam message and scammers.
Recently, Jio had launched Jio Fiber broadband services with monthly package starting from Rs 699 with free HD voice calling, unlimited data and TV video calling.
